My mum had asked me to do a few portraits of her, and so I did. I was home in the south of France and printed some of the better shots two at a time so as not to waste glossy paper.

When I went in the kitchen, to show them to her, I noticed how they caught the light, matching the color temperature of the table I had put the sheet on. I took a camera and shot a portrait of that portrait, mirror in mirrors.

I always wanted to do a series like that each one showing a few portraits on a single sheet, each one looking at you. Some day I will. Don't steal my idea !
